Asset quality concerns weigh on Bandhan Bank shares as NPAs rise

Analysts have a ‘neutral’ to ‘buy’ recommendation on the stock with a target price of between Rs 320 and Rs 440, it closed at Rs 273 on Monday

The market reacted negatively to the results of Bandhan Bank. Despite a jump in profits, the bank saw deteriorating asset quality and higher NPAs (non-performing assets). Profit after tax (PAT) was Rs 886 crore, up 140% year on year (YoY) but down 53% quarter on quarter (QoQ).
