Net asset value as of April 30, 2022

As of April 30, 2022, the net asset value (NAV) per share of Private Equity Holding AG (PEH) amounted to EUR 155.74 (CHF 159.69), an increase of 1.5% in EUR ( 1.8% in CHF) since March 31, 2022.

PEH’s positive performance in April was largely explained by the favorable strengthening of the USD against the EUR and a positive valuation adjustment of dss+, a co-investment alongside Gyrus Capital and world leader health, safety and environment consulting and operational risk management. dss+ had a strong first quarter of the year and expects significant revenue and profitability growth for the year. On the other hand, negative adjustments also took place, mainly in relation to listed technology stocks held by funds and PEH’s indirect exposure to unlisted investments in Russia.

PEH received notable distributions from Abry Heritage, completing the sale of Aftermath, a trauma and biohazard treatment company and Abry VIII, distributing proceeds from the sale of MobileHelp, an alert service provider clinic with telehealth capabilities. Overall, however, portfolio cash flow was negative in April. Nevertheless, PEH reduced its bank debt by 38% by using its excess liquidity.

The Annual General Meeting will take place on June 2, 2022 and the invitation has been posted on the PEH website.
